bulletDescription

Flavomycin, elaborated from microbiological fermentation, consists of at least 4significant components: moenomycins A, B1, B2 and C with moenomycin A as the main course. The pure & non-crystalline solids Are colorless and odorless. The melting point is changeable. Under heating, it begins to melt at 200℃. The UV spectrum exhibits a maximum absorption at 258nm when it is dissolved into neutral solvent. Soluble in Water, methanol, DMF and ethanol. Sparingly soluble in ether, ethyl acetate. Practically insoluble in benzene.

No side or negative effects were observed when Flavomycin was administered orally. The results obtained from a study into which Flavomycin was added to Feed and was administered at 50ppm to targeted animals indicate that the drug exhibited positives on body weight, feed utilization, hatchability, weight gains and the concentration of glucose in blood.

bulletSpecification

Flavomycin is a unique antimicrobial growth promotant offering benefits beyond performance by means of microflora management. It is in powder meal  for broiler
chickens; broiler turkeys. For broiler chickens - Claim 1,For broiler turkeys - Claim 2

Claim 1 For increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency in broiler chickens.
Level of Drug: 2 mg/kg (0.0002%) of complete feed (2 PPM)
Directions: Feed this medicated feed as the sole ration from day 1 to market weight.
Warning: Do not feed to laying chickens.
Caution: 1. Do not feed to replacement or breeding chickens.
2. Do not use in feeds containing pellet-binding agents (required on premix and supplement labels only).
Claim 2 For increased rate of weight gain in male and female turkeys growing up to 12 weeks of age.
Level of Drug: 2 mg/kg (0.0002%) of complete feed (2 PPM)
Directions: Feed this medicated feed as the sole ration from day 1 to 12 weeks of age.
Caution: 1. Do not feed to replacement or breeding chickens.
2. Do not use in feeds containing pellet-binding agents (required on premix and supplement labels only).
bulletAccepted Compatabilities
Flavomycin is compatible with the following drug/drug combinations.
  For use in Feed for
1. halofuginone hydrobromide broiler chicken
2. maduramicin ammonium broiler chicken
3. monensin sodium broiler chicken
4. salinomycin sodium broiler chicken
bulletMode of Action
As a growth promoter: Flavomycin can enhance digestion of protein and extra energy to
thin the intestinal tract wall and improve nutrient absorption. The drug can effectively
prevent synthesis of carbohydrate and protein, and increase irritability by striking a balance between intestinal tract flora groups and maintaining PH stability. The anti-bacterial activity can prevent / interfere biological synthesis of peptidic polysaccharides and synthesis of sensitive cell wall. Nevertheless, it is not applied clinically. The scope of application is confined to growth promotion currently.
Characteristics:
growth promotion without the presence of carcinogenic, mutagenic and teratogenic effects.
bulletTargeted Animals
The highly safe & low-toxicity feed additive has remarkable effects on pigs, cattle, chickens and rabbits.
bulletPacking:
25 Kg Bag  in one compound paper bag with plastic liner inside. Or in 25 Kg fiber drums.
bulletStorage
Kept in a tight-closed container, protected from light and stored  in a dry place.
bulletShelf Life
Stable for 2 years when kept in an air-tight container and protected from light
